All music created more or less live using guitar/bass vi and pedalboard, Microfreak, and MIDI synth (usually with Pigments). Minimal post-production.

My intention originally was to create a live soundtrack to the 1920 German silent film Der Golem. I tried that, but found that I wasn't doing a great job with timing or hitting cues. So I kind of abandoned that idea. In spirit, these longform improvisations are tangentially related to the Golem, a mythical Jewish figure who has always fascinated me. Also, I have a distant cousin named Fritz Feld, later of Lost In Space, and many Hollywood films of the 50s-70s, who makes his film debut in this.

In lieu of a Spooky Season sequel this Halloween, I present The Golem Variations instead (and while I ripped off the Glenn Gould cover, I haven't as much as heard his album).
